Operating System, BIOS, Edge Computing and more
The Box PCs are usable with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux. The operating system can be configured to the respective requirements (e.g. Image, Goldmaster, user configuration, etc.). BIOS settings can be adapted as well. The software system includes numerous configuration and extension options. Our development experts set up individual edge computing concepts on demand. In this way, virtualization tools such as a real-time hypervisor allow to integrate existing remote maintenance solutions and to operate parallel docker-based applications. The intelligent management of complex data is the biggest challenge in IIoT. The multi-service platform offers a solution approach to bundle several services at the “edge” of an installation.

The modern product design follows the concept “form follows function”: precise forms, a clear housing structure and visual lightness promote both user-friendliness and efficient working. Powder-coated aluminium ensures a stable housing resistant to many environmental influences. The EMC-compatible housing design is particularly resistant to external interfering sources. All components are easy to reach, interfaces are on one wiring level and aligned towards the front, uncovered and thus easily accessible.
