4. Data Collection on our Website
The websites sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your PC and contain no viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files that are placed in your PC and which your browser saves.
Most of the cookies used by us are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted upon leaving our website. Other cookies will be saved on your end device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser when you visit us again.
Cookies which are required for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions (e.g. shopping basket function) which you request are saved on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO. The website operator has a justified interest in the storage of cookies to ensure the technically faultless and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored these are treated separately in this privacy statement.
The provider of the sites automatically collects and saves information in so-called server-log-files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This is:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of accessing computer
- time of server enquiry
These data are not merged with other data sources.
These data are collected on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a justified interest in the technically faultless presentation and optimisation of its website - for this purpose the server log files need to be collected.
Enquiry by E-mail, Phone or Fax
If you contact us by e-mail, phone or fax your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be saved and processed with us for the purpose of processing your concern. We do not pass on these data without your permission.
These data are processed on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or required for the execution of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the processing is based on your approval (art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and/or our justified interests (art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) as we have a justified interest in the effective processing of the enquiries received.
The data sent from you to us via contact enquiry remain with us until you request us to delete them, revoke your consent to store them or the purpose of the data storage (e.g. upon finished processing of your concern) ceases to exist. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular legal retention periods - remain unaffected.
5. Analysis Tools and Advertisement
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is the provider.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies". These are text files which are saved on your computer and allow an analysis of your usage of the website. The information created by the cookie and your usage of this website are usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there.
The saving of Google Analytics cookies and the usage of this analysis tool are made on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a justified interest in analysing the user behaviour in order to optimise both its web service and its advertisement.
By means of Google Analytics we measure user numbers, page views, session durations and user movements on the website. Based on the resulting evaluations current and future contents and marketing measures can be built up or optimised.
You can prevent the saving of cookies by a respective setting of your browser software; we would like to inform you, though, that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. Beyond that you can prevent the collection of the data created by the cookie and related to your usage of the website (incl. your IP-address) for Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objection to Data Collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out-cookie is set that prevents the collection of your data when visiting this website in the future: Deactivate Google Analytics.
Please find more information on the handling of user data with Google Analytics in Google’s privacy statement: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
We concluded a contract on order processing with Google and fully implement the strict regulations of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic Features with Google Analytics
This website uses the function “demographic features” of Google Analytics. In this way reports containing information on the age, sex and interests of the page visitors can be created. These data originate from interest-related advertisement of Google and from user data of third-party providers. These data cannot be matched with a particular person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the advertisement settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the topic “Objection to Data Collection”.
Data stored by Google on user or event level which are related to cookies, user names (e.g. user-ID) or advertisement-IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertisement-ID) are made anonymous resp. deleted after 14 months. Please see details on this under the following link: support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196
Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in connection with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is the provider.
This function allows to relate the advertisement target groups created by Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way interest-related personalised advertising messages which, depending on your former user and surfing behaviour on an end device (e.g. mobile phone), were attuned to you, can also be displayed on another end device of yours (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you have given a respective consent Google connects your web and app browser history with your Google account for this purpose. In this way the same personalised advertising messages can be displayed on each end device you log in with your Google account.
To support this function Google Analytics collects google-authenticated IDs of the users which are temporarily connected to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently object to the cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalised advertising in your Google account. Follow this link for this purpose: www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
The merger of the data collected in your Google account is exclusively performed on the basis of your approval which you can submit or withdraw with Google (art. 6 para 1 lit. a DSGVO). In case of data collection processes which are not merged in your Google account (e.g. because you have no Google account or objected to the merger) the collection of the data is based on art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The justified interest results from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymous analysis of the website visitors for advertising purposes.
If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website we need from you an e-mail address and information allowing us to check that you are the owner of the e-mail address entered and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. Further data are not collected resp. only collected on a voluntary basis. We use these data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass them on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered into the newsletter registration form is exclusively performed on the basis of your consent (art. 6 para 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke the consent given to save the data, the e-mail address and their usage to send the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The righteousness of the data processing performed so far remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data entered by you for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter are saved by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, whereupon the data shall be deleted. Data saved with us for other purposes remain unaffected thereby.
This website uses CleverReach for sending newsletters. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede. CleverReach is a service to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. The data entered by you for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address) are saved on CleverReach’s servers in Germany resp. Ireland.
Our newsletters sent by CleverReach allow to analyse the behaviour of the newsletter recipients. Thus, it can be analysed how many recipients have opened the newsletter and how often which link in the newsletter was clicked on. By means of the so-called conversion tracking it can also be analysed if upon clicking the link in the newsletter a pre-defined action (e.g. purchase of a product on this website) has been performed. Please see https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/ for further information on data analysis by CleverReach newsletters.
The processing of the data is performed on the basis of your consent (art. 6 para 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this 10 / 13 consent any time by unsubscribing the newsletter. The righteousness of the data processing performed so far remains unaffected by the revocation.
If you do not want an analysis by CleverReach you have to unsubscribe the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a respective link in every newsletter message. Furthermore, you can also unsubscribe the newsletter directly on the website.
We save the data entered by you for the purpose of subscribing the newsletter with us resp. the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe the newsletter, whereupon the data shall be deleted from the newsletter mailing list. Data saved with us for other purposes remain unaffected thereby.
Upon unsubscribing from the newsletter mailing list your e-mail address will be saved with us resp. the newsletter service provider in a blacklist to prevent further mailings. The data from the blacklist are only used for this purpose and are not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal regulations for sending newsletters (justified interest in the sense of art. 6 para 1 lit. f DSGVO). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our justified interest.
For further details please see the data protection regulations of CleverReach under:

YOU CAN OBJECT TO THIS STORAGE IF YOUR JUSTIFIED INTERESTS OVERWEIGH OUR INTERESTS.
Upon expiration of this retention period the data shall be deleted if there is no legal retention obligation or other legal ground for further storage. If it is obvious that the retention of your data will be required upon expiration of the retention period (e.g. due to a potential or pending lawsuit) the data shall only be deleted when they have become groundless. Google Maps (with Consent)
Via an API this website uses the maps service Google Maps. Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is the provider.
In order to ensure data protection on this website Google Maps is deactivated if you enter this website for the first time.
