Software Lab: Schubert System Elektronik Establishes New Location

For about 50 years, Schubert System Elektronik GmbH has been standing for development experience in the area of industrial computer systems. In order to further expand the development competence in the area of system software, the new Software Lab was founded in August 2020 in Deggendorf (Bavaria).

Supported by the specialists in Neuhausen ob Eck, the development of products and technologies is driven forward there. Originally consisting of just three members, the team arose from the talent factory of the “EDV-Schule Plattling” and currently devotes itself primarily to the development of Linux-based automation and client applications such as web panels and on the middleware level (applications, frameworks, user interface). In the future, the software development will also focus on topics around artificial intelligence.

In our Software Lab, a young dedicated team develops new software solutions to be able to extend our portfolio and address a wider customer base. In this way, we not only stengthen the total development competence of Schubert System Elektronik but also create innovative synergy effects for our future customer projects with new insights.

More Synergy and Agility

In addition, since summer 2020 a new tool environment has fostered the cooperation of all employees across the locations of Schubert System Elektronik. Confluence for collaboration, internal communication and central documentation as well as Jira for project management and issue tracking not only allow for agile working but help to prevent internal silo thinking, use synergy effects and establish sustainable knowledge management.
